In a world where books are slowly fading away and everyone is glued to their smartphones, its never been more important to develop a child's passion for reading. Reading ignites the imagination and this will benefit your child, this is why it's very important to establish a good reading habit for your child when they are young. Reading Classes and Book Clubs - When you visit your child's schools main office you may discover the school offers Reading Classes or Book Clubs. These programs are great because they help kids learn how to read developing their vocabulary, pronunciation, and expression. Plus for children, these type of classes can be fun! Not only are they interacting with the colorful illustrations most child books have catchy rhymes, and imaginary stories that take you to new places. For children you can't put a price on these things, they love it. The creativity books offer can capture a child's mind sparking their imagination. 

Build up your child's home library - Reading doesn't end at the after-school program. When home Think about which TV shows your child loves watching, try looking for the characters in books. Always remember your child is just a kid, they don't know what they like yet so if you see a book you think they will like it, get it! Whether it's a Batman comic book or fun illustrated book, See what peeks their interest and slowly build.
